​We absolutely loved our week in this cozy cottage. It is a tough thing to find a rental house that is well-equipped, homey, in a fantastic location, and doesn't "feel like a rental", and this house checked all the boxes. The house is beautiful, absolutely charming, and had so many unique qualities that could only be found in a home with this much history. The kids loved the fun upstairs bedrooms and we ended up staying home and grilling most nights because the yard was spectacular! The neighborhood is picturesque and it was so convenient to only be a quick 10-minute (flat and easy) walk to the beach, where we spent most days (the walk to Sea Street beach was a tad better than Cold Storage in our opinion, since the road was so quiet and pretty straight, but both are super close). The homeowner was great to deal with leading up to our arrival, and quick to respond with any questions during our stay. So great to have sheets and towels there so we didn't have to bring them. Overall, a wonderful week!

​The weather was fantastic and the location was ideal. Your home is incredibly charming, the outdoor setting is so very peaceful and relaxing, this is where we spent most of our time. The inside is lovely as well, simple and functional allowing the historical elements to shine through.

​Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home! My family of 5 stayed during Columbus Day weekend. The house had more than enough space and offers the perfect combination of Cape charm with all the updates and amenities that you could need. It is the absolute perfect location! It is just a short walk to Cold Storage Beach, our family's favorite and one of the best on the Cape! The property is truly amazing, set on a peaceful and secluded lot that has outdoor living with a fire pit and a great yard for the kids to enjoy after a long day at the beach. The communication with the owners was terrific and we honestly couldn't have asked for anything more from a Cape rental. We've been renting on the Cape for more than 10 years and without a doubt, this is the best house that we have stayed in! My kids were sad to leave and immediately asked when we can go back! Just finished unpacking, and starting to settle back in. It will take us awhile after an absolutely fabulous week! We can't say enough about the house! We are old house people, as our house was built in 1897, so we loved what you have done to it. As I think I told you in a prior email we have stayed on the neck in various houses for the past 30 years and have decided this is our favorite! We were either at the beach or on the patio, the outdoor space is amazing, quiet and private.

We hope we will be able to come back next year!

This is an awesome house for a family to enjoy a relaxing Cape vacation. This home has a tremendous amount of charm. It is very comfortable and the owner is very conscientious and attentive to his guests’ needs. We had a great weather week, so we were able to enjoy all our meals outside on the well-designed porch area. The back yard is spacious and private, and the fire pit is a wonderful bonus for after-dinner campfires. The fact that the house is a short walk to the bay beaches is absolutely HUGE. Getting to the beach and parking there is probably the most challenging thing about a Cape vacation. The ability for everyone in the family to be on their own schedule and walk down to the beach whenever they like is fantastic. I would highly recommend this house and this owner for anyone who wants a relaxing vacation at a unique property.
